Reigning world champion Max Verstappen led the Bahrain Grand Prix from start to finish in a dominant display.
The Red Bull driver took the lead from pole-sitter Charles Leclerc at the start and controlled the race thereafter, building a comfortable lead over the Ferrari driver.
Verstappen's victory was his first of the 2024 season and the 17th of his career. It also extended his winning streak to four races, dating back to last season's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Leclerc finished second, with Sergio Perez completing the podium for Red Bull. George Russell was fourth for Mercedes, with Esteban Ocon fifth for Alpine.
Lewis Hamilton had a disappointing race, finishing ninth for Mercedes after a poor start. The seven-time world champion was penalized for a collision with Fernando Alonso, which dropped him down the order.
The 2024 Formula 1 season continues with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on March 19.
