Former Sunderland loanee Amad Diallo has deleted his Instagram account after he was injured during a match. Diallo, who is now on loan at Manchester United, posted an update on his Instagram after the injury, but has since deleted the post and his entire account.
The 19-year-old winger joined Manchester United from Atalanta in January 2021 for a fee of £37 million. He has made 9 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 1 goal. Diallo was on loan at Sunderland for the second half of the 2020/21 season, making 12 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
Diallo's injury is a blow to Manchester United, who are already without a number of players due to injury. The Red Devils are currently 6th in the Premier League, 12 points behind leaders Manchester City.
Diallo has responded to United supporters on Twitter, thanking them for their support and saying that he is "working hard to get back on the pitch as soon as possible." Diallo is expected to be out for several weeks with the injury.
