Aftermath Of Malaysian Airlines Tragedy

MH17 Victims' Remains Arrive in Netherlands

Aftermath of Malaysian Airlines Tragedy

Investigation and Repatriation

As the investigation into the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 continues, the remains of some of the victims have arrived in the Netherlands for identification and repatriation.

Five British citizens were among the 298 passengers and crew members who were killed when the plane was shot down over eastern Ukraine in July 2014. The remains of some of the victims have now been transported to the Netherlands for identification and repatriation.

The crash of Flight 17 has raised questions about the safety of air travel in conflict zones. The investigation into the downing of the plane is ongoing, and it is hoped that the findings will help to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
