Three Lions' 'exciting' new attacking trio
Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze tell Sky Sports about their partnership with Michael Olise
Crystal Palace's in-form attacking trio of Jean-Philippe Mateta, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise have been praised for their recent performances, with pundits describing them as "exciting" and "a joy to watch".
Mateta has scored four goals in his last five Premier League games, while Eze and Olise have both been providing assists and creating chances for their team-mates.
"We're really enjoying playing together," said Mateta. "We're all young and hungry, and we all want to prove ourselves in the Premier League.
"We've got a good understanding of each other's game, and we're always looking for each other on the pitch.
"I think we can be a really exciting attacking force for Crystal Palace."
Eze added: "We're all very different players, but we complement each other well.
"I'm more of a playmaker, Mateta is a goalscorer, and Olise is a winger who can create and score goals.
"We're still learning and developing, but I think we have the potential to be one of the best attacking trios in the Premier League.
"We're all very excited about the future."
Palace boss Patrick Vieira has also been impressed with the trio's performances.
"They're a very exciting young attacking trio," said Vieira.
"They're all very talented players, and they're all still learning and developing.
"I'm really excited to see what they can achieve together in the future."
